Tanya Rose
Tanya Rose, a graphic designer and photographer, was born in Victoria, Australia. Residing in the leafy outer suburbs of Melbourne with her family, she recently fulfilled a lifelong dream with the release of her first novel, The Wave. Tanya's background in communication design, visual design, and her love of reading, inspired her to become a published author. Tanya's style is descriptive, contemporary and fun.
When she's not writing or designing, Tanya loves to drive her vintage Corvette through Victoria's green hills and beachside towns.

Review of The Wave
"Despite a traumatic past in the music industry, 25-year-old Bee Barrett is living her dream in London as a seasoned club performer. But when the wealthy Houston family offers her a contract to sing for The Wave cocktail lounge in their luxurious hotel, Bee—along with her manager/best friend Mel—agrees to a four-month contract, complete with her own stylist, wardrobe, and a hefty stipend. About RAW
In August 1991 an historic meeting of eight women took place in Sydney - a meeting that gave birth to Romance Writers of Australia.
Although we began with only eight members, we now support over 700 members and our membership includes writers from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom. RWA has become internationally recognised and respected by both category and mainstream publishers of romance.
The core elements of our mission statement have remained the same since 1991, with a small change recently to show our commitment to supporting all of our members, from all walks of life.
About Me
My Background
I was a professional photographer, starting in film, then digital media for 25 years; photographing everything from editorial, promotional, sports and event photography. I loved to combine design into my digital imaging work. I still miss the dark room, and enjoy my travel photography these days.
My Medium
I am a full time author of contemporary romance books, and a graphic designer, working from home in the outer leafy suburbs of Melbourne. I
studied communication design at Swinburne University, and was the recipient of a travel design Scholarship to Singapore. I now design book covers for indie and self published authors.
My Inspiration
I enjoy everything travel & books! I've been an avid reader for a long time. Reading, writing and designing book covers for other authors. My all time favourite book: The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde. I love to travel and see new places and experience the wonder of beautiful vistas, cultures and food, especially Italy.
